THE COMPANY

This well-known women's clothing brand is looking for a Trade Analyst to help improve their understanding of customer buying habits and help them continuously improve performance across the business. Over the past year this company has achieved growth across all of its UK, EU and North American markets, and is now looking to increase their market share from a demographic perspective.

THE ROLE

The successful Analyst will be involved in the following:

• Helping assess and report on the ROI of marketing and promotional activity
• Assisting with building the demand budget, based on forecasting business performance and customers trends
• Producing commercial, data-driven insights based on sales performance, traffic conversion, departmental budgets, average spend/basket size
• Providing deep-dive analysis into trading to help the business understand their performance, and to help shape future decisions and strategies
• Presenting their findings to key stakeholders within the business

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Analyst will have:

• Good working knowledge of SQL and Excel, with knowledge of Alteryx being advantageous
• Solid commercial experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of Power BI or a similar data visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau or Looker)
• Proven experience of providing insights from transactional data
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate your findings effectively to non-technical audiences
• The ability to work both independently, and cross-functionally across the business
