Based in Bradford, we are an established eCommerce company with over 30 years' experience. Everything we develop is done internally, from our website to our warehouse management and customer service systems. We have been increasingly busy over the past year, setting records for sales and we need to ensure that our internal systems are up to the job of meeting the demand.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Working alongside the wider development team in an agile environment, you will use your PHP / MySQL / MVC / OOP skills to produce contemporary code that will be the face of our brand as well as the internal workings of the organisation. Every development project we have is completed internally, so you will have the opportunity to work on a huge range of assignments from single page websites to customer and warehouse management systems. You will work closely with our front end developers and designers, taking ownership of projects, from initial concept to completion. You will be developing and testing code across multiple browsers, platforms and devices including smartphones and tablets. In order to achieve success in this role, you will have good PHP / MySQL / MVC / OOP knowledge, a passion for back-end development and the ability to communicate effectively.

We have identified that our internal systems need strengthening and the business has commited to large projects to update and rewrite many of the systems that provide the backbone to the business. We need creative developers who can come in and apply their own knowledge of utilising modern tech to future proof our operations.
