Job Details

My client, a leader in client services are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and deliver IT services and assist in the migration of their messaging service within a hybrid environment. This role is fully remote and for a 6 month FTC.
Purpose of the Role

-Day to day management of infrastructure related tickets

-Management and planning of upgrades to systems

-Assisting with the delivery of new systems and solutions

-Identify opportunities to improve services

-Ensuring infrastructure related tickets are resolved in a timely manner

-Be a technical expert and provide colleagues and users with suitable advice, guidance and assistance for the investigation and resolution of support related technical issues, including major incidents

Skills:

-Strong experience of Exchange 2010/2016 and all messaging components

-Microsoft Exchange Online Migrations from on-premise for medium scale migrations 1000+ mailboxes

-Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Azure AD, SSO

-Good knowledge of MimeCast

-Good knowledge of Teams

-Confident in M365, Azure based IaaS environments

-Management and support of Windows Server 2008-2019

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-Te chnically capable, able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills

-Exchange 2010+ with in depth messaging experience

-Windows 2008-2019 support and management

-Migrations to of messaging services to Exchange Online
