Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a professional and experienced Full-Stack Python Developer (preferably Django) to join our team producing our new mobile core portal system! As a Full-Stack Developer at our company, you will be responsible for the design and deployment of our next generation of cutting edge products.

You will have the opportunity to have a lot of freedom over how the new system is designed. This will include both the front and backend. We are looking to have a cross platform product from a single codebase using a PWA.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop the architecture for the next generation of the portal system within GCP
• Design a cross-platform frontend for the portal and APIs for customers
• Create a robust testing and release structure for the software
• Produce an alerts system for error catching and system monitoring
• General database management
• Planning feature releases
• Work alongside the Firmware Developers to define how data is ingested and handled

Requirements and qualifications

• 4 years of experience in developing commercial applications
• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Portfolio or demonstrable previous commercial projects
• Industry Experience using Django
• Experience developing GCP architects
• Frontend preferably using cross platform frameworks (Ionic / React Native / Flutter) or experience with PWA
• Nice to have iOS/Android experience
• Docker
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management
• Great interpersonal and communication skills within a team
• Able to work remotely during COVID
• Open to working from Lisbon in the future after COVID

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
