Clojure Developer

Spencer Scott are working with a "Tech for Good" who are revolutionising the communication channels and ability to access information for those working within their industry as they embark on an exciting journey of growth having obtained substantial Series A funding.

They're on the hunt for a Clojure Developer to be a part of their Agile Squad environment, working cross-functionally alongside their Tech Lead, Product Manager, UX Designer and fellow Software Engineers.

The Clojure Developer will be working on a high web-traffic web based platform utilising a modern technical stack and a "quality first" approach, including the implementation of maximum test coverage and best software engineering practices & principles.

Clojure Developer Role Requirements:
  • Experience and a keen interest in functional programming, having worked significantly with Clojure on a commercial basis.
  • Kafka knowledge and experience.
  • A passion for "Tech for Good".
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced Startup environment.
  • You enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with your peers.
  • An Agile mindset.

The successful Clojure Developer will become a shareholder in the business upon joining and will be introduced to some fantastic Company benefits on top of a basic salary range of £60,000 - £85,000 dependent on experience. The role is fully remote (even after the pandemic) as the Company have a team distributed across the UK.
