Scala Developer - e-commerce project - media client

Calling all Scala Developers!!!

Our client, a global multi-media organisaton is looking to speak to dynamic, pro-active Scala Developers for a cutting-edge project they are delivering at the moment.

This is a 6 month contract, working fully remote, with an excellent chance of extension.

Three years+ commercial Scala Development experience is sought. Very good TDD experience will also be required.

Play / AKKA is nice to have but certainly not essential.

This is a functional Scala programming role so BigData Scala Development would not be suitable unfortunately.

The ideal candidate will most likely come from a large-scale e-commerce website backgrounds. Gambling or Betting website experience would be of interest as would big on-line retail site experience.

Scala Developers applying would need to have worked on very high-traffic websites that would have high TPS.

Kubernetes experience would be great but our client would be happy with good Docker experience too.

Very customer facing people are of real interest, bright personalities, great communication skills. This team tends not to develop with their headphones on!!

Up to £600/day pay Inside IR35 (working via an Umbrella Company)
