Input of financial transactions, accounting and creating financial reports specifically designed to track the financial progress of projects.

Duties will include:
Update WIP each week for several entities based on several systems.
Hold monthly WIP meetings to ensure that WIP is accurate from a finance and operations standpoint.
Reconcile the revenue of each entity to ensure the revenue recognised each month is accurate.
Review the persuasive evidence of all new bookings to ensure that we are following US GAAP.
Issuing invoices based on milestones reached
Acting as a financial sparring partner for the project managers and finance team
Preparing financial and management reports including month end reconciliations and reporting
Managing controls of project accounting
Managing audits and tax issues with regards to projects
Offering support to other functions to aid project management
Processing daily transactions and ensuring the follow-up of all outstanding items for area of responsibility
Responding to inquiries; resolving discrepancies; maintaining records and files
Submitting monthly reports and assisting in month-end-closing
Contributing to the working environment by displaying a positive attitude and a high work ethic
Ensuring compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy and with a US GAAP regime
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesProfile
