Due to continued growth of our client, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer with solid outsourced payroll experience to join our team in Birmingham

You will be joining a young, dynamic company who is looking to grow rapidly over the coming months.

Duties will include:
  • Maintaining employee data ensuring company processes are adhered to
  • processing payroll from multiple clients
  • processing leaver requests
  • Running payroll reports
  • Dealing with queries quickly and efficiently
  • some bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns may be required so experience of Xero is desirable

The ideal applicant:
  • Will have good knowledge of outsourced payroll
  • have good attention to detail
  • excellent computer literacy
  • the ability to work on the own initiative and prioritise workload
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work in a small team

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday - 0900-1700


£22,000-£26.000 dependent on experience
