37.5 hours per week

Salary Scale: Band 5 £25,351 - £31,966 pro rata

Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mackintosh Centre Residential Care Home and Support Service for a highly motivated and experienced practitioner. The post of Deputy Manager is essential to the safe and effective delivery of high standards of care for residents, staff and families. This is a challenging but rewarding post which provides a perfect development oppotunity for those considering career progression to management level.

Candidates must be able to work flexibly to be able to both lead shifts with residents (note a 12 hours shift pattern is in operation) and undertake managerial duties. Previous experience in a care home setting is essential, as is SVQ Level 3 and a Medication PDA or equivalent, and the ability and willingness to undertake appropriate training.
