Portfolio Strategy Vice President

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Portfolio Strategy Vice President to join a major global banking group based in the City. This position will serve as the bridge between Front Office and the banks reporting systems assessing

Current ongoing projects include: Client & Portfolio Dashboard development, framework development to run new deal approval processes, low profitability asset analysis and recommendations, EMEA hurdle rate framework analysis, Client Analytics data testing and validation.

The ability to interpret financial information and design/interpret financial models is essential. The role will require the analysis of large volumes of data and need the incumbent to provide sound advice and guidance to Front Office teams across EMEA. It is essential that the candidate has strong and varied product knowledge of but not limited to: Corporate Loans, FX/MM, Derivatives and Trade Finance.

The ideal candidate may have previously worked in a Front Office position or come from a Finance/Middle Office background who has expert product and reporting knowledge. Dealing directly with Front Office is a major part of this role as is providing technical analysis and advice on product lines.

The candidate must be confident at presenting to all levels of management and will be responsible for liaising directly with the banks' Capital Strategy Panel to provide project updates and assist with project planning.
