The Master Data Governance Opportunity:

We are seeking a Master Data Governance Manager to lead the Master Data Governance Team. Reporting to the Head of Information Governance, you will be responsible for reinforcing, driving and embedding Information Governance strategy across the EMEA region as well as driving continuous improvement opportunities and service level improvements in Master data management.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supporting Head of Information Governance with the facilitation of any Data Governance Councils or Data working groups activities
+ Utilising these forums to help drive data strategy maturity and improvements in key EMEA Master Data and governance processes
+ Focal point for Business stakeholders with regard to data BAU processes & enquiries
+ Enforce & develop the creation and change of business as usual master data processes to deliver accurate, consistent data in a timely manner.
+ To participate in the control of access to creation & amendment of master data to ensure regulatory compliance.
+ Drives the development of documented business as usual procedures in order to promote consistency of Master Data Management
+ Drives the efficient coordination of all master data related IT systems in the Univar EMEA landscape by effective stakeholder management.
+ Own the reporting requirements agreed within the Data Governance council and other stakeholder councils for BAU processes.
+ Facilitate change management processes to the business users of MDM systems for business as usual processes where required in relation to all changes, enhancements and projects.
+ Provide day to day team management of the direct reports.
+ Drive continuous improvement opportunities and collaborative working methods across the wider MDM and IT teams.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Data Governance, implementing governance frameworks and managing data teams. You should have experience in DAMA best practice, master data management processes and tool sets (Talend, SAP MDG). We are looking for someone with good knowledge of material, customer & vendor master data and associated business processes. Experience of operating governance in a regulated environment (ISO9001, GMP, Global BI), and be familiar with a range of business systems and integration methods.
