We're looking for a creative, ambitious, and hungry Lead Digital News Editor / Investing Journalist that wants to break stories, deep dive into the industry, and grow a fast-paced news team in our investment brand Invezz. You’ll be using your talent to break down complex investment information to make world wide news relevant to investment decisions.

Monefize is a start up in the financial comparison space operating two brands that seek to compete at the highest level, – an international money transfer comparison site and, a leading online investing guide.

Backed by Kinetic Investments, a start-up accelerator, we’re primed to transform digital finance and have ambitious plans for the coming years in these exciting industries


+ Manage the production and publication of news content across the financial industry
+ Manage and build a team of news editors covering the trading, stocks, cryptocurrency, forex, commodities, and macroeconomics industries
+ Manage the workflows, schedules and coverage to ensure the team is covering news at all times
+ To drive the strategy, innovation and engagement of news content; from what stories to cover to story design & structure
+ Staying on top of industry developments, trends and expertise in order to drive the team
+ Create industry relevant relationships with people and publications to empower our continued growth
+ Monitor performance, budgets and time to ensure optimal results across each layer of the news division
+ Liaise and work closely with the Head of SEO to ensure optimisation and best practices are followed
+ Where required, to personally research, produce and break stories leading by example


+ Knowledge of investment and financial industry; trading, banking, forex, stocks, cryptocurrency.
+ Experience managing a team of writers and researchers.
+ Experience in a journalism or news editorial role.
+ Experience in a digital-content writing role.
+ Strong knowledge of modern writing techniques for the web.
+ Advanced editorial experience, you should be able to research, plan, structure, execute and fact check your own work as well as assess someone's content.
+ Basic knowledge of marketing principles (SEO, audiences, tone of voice, content types and their needs etc..)
+ Strong command of the English language and grammar.
+ Impeccable written communication skills.

+ Passion & Positive Attitude – You have great energy and are extremely self-motivated.
+ Team Player – You work well in a collaborative, team-based environment + individually. You talk, share, motivate and enjoy time with your peers.
