We’re looking for an energetic, self-starting, creative tech developer to autonomously build an end-to-end in-house platform for our business.

What you’ll be doing / core responsibilities:

Build an integrated platform from the ground up which supports the operations of the business (bookings, orders etc) and provides exceptional customer experience that embeds the flexibility and convenience at the heart of our brand.

Our platform will also enable our customers to connect seamlessly with each other depending on their needs, both professional and social.

You will handle:

+ UX: Research and develop the requirements of our tech solution with a combination of market research into existing solutions and talking to our customers
+ Build: Build, develop and maintain our web application by writing well designed, testable, efficient code, using best software development practices
+ Testing/Q&A: Regular testing of code for speed and quality, and performing troubleshooting. Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into our operations and activities
+ Maintaining brand consistency: Working with an external designer to ensure that everything you build and ship is in line with our brand image and values.
You’ll work closely with the senior team and advisers, helping to evaluate the business and technical performance of new features.

You will…

+ Have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
+ Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
+ Have an interest in product management, design and the customer experience
+ Have experience of designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable web services
+ Have an innate curiosity about new technologies and aspire to combine usability with visual desirability
+ Have a deep understanding and applicable knowledge of Web & Mobile app, and SaaS software development
+ Have an extensive toolkit of skills and platform experience within your arsenal, but be comfortable & open to a variety of platforms and languages, and not wedded to a particular technology or approach
+ Have a solid track record of full stack web and web app development
+ Have experience in building platforms from the bottom up, applying rapid prototyping and iterations of MVPs with short cycle times
+ Be able to handle system administration basics
+ Be a considerate coder with strong housekeeping / documentation habits
+ Be a strong written and verbal communicator, able to explain techie things to non-technical people
+ Be able to translate business needs into technical specifications

You’ll also have…

+ Native-level English language skills
+ All the necessary permits to work here in the UK
