As our Financial Accountant, you will be the 'Go-To' person responsible for all Sales Accounting and Treasury relating to KP Snacks. The successful candidate will therefore be an experienced Financial Accountant who is able to ensure that the business complies with UK accounting standards (FRS 102) and Group accounting policies. The focus is on continuous improvement, driving new efficiencies and maintaining strong financial control.

Adherence to the Group Treasury policy and management of the cover decisions relating to spend. The role is also responsible for the Sales accounting function ensuring that the Trade Investment accruals are managed with integrity and in accordance with audit requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring that we have integrity in the commercial balance sheet and we ultimately deliver a first-class audit report
  • Ensuring compliance to FX policy and when required take deals with external banks to cover our liabilities
  • Maintaining records/forecasts to demonstrate our hedge effectiveness to our auditors
  • Preparing F1/F2/Budget for FX exposure and interest/loans
  • Preparing monthly analysis of interest costs and ensure correct accruals/prepayments are done
  • Running the monthly FX, Interest and commercial balance sheet meetings
  • Ensuring SOP's are in place and constantly reviewed for both on and offshore tasks

Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrable record of implementing the highest standards of financial control and compliance
  • CIMA or ACCA studier (at least Certificate/Knowledge completed)
  • Critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Operations analysis
  • Strategic and conceptual skills
  • ERP experience
