Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: Standard office hours 9am - 5pm, however pay consider part time ( min 25 hrs/wk) for the right candidate
Days: Monday - Friday
Tax compliance, collation and submissions including VAT returns, PAYE, employee benefits and international taxes.
Cash management, forecasting and reporting.
Payroll processing for up to 200 staff and pensions administration.
Assist in budget preparations including capital expenditure.
Preparation of grant applications.
Manage hire purchase and loan arrangements.
Maintain fixed assess register including audit compliance.
Produce monthly management accounts and assist in year end preparations including tax relief claims.
Must have a strong finance background including assisting with year end procedures, payroll, taxation and cash management.
Relevant accounting qualifications to CIMA or ACCA level are preferred, however candidates who are qualified by experience may also be considered.
Must have excellent numeracy, attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Must have a good level of computer literacy on MS Office, experience of Sage / Xero accounting software is preferred.
