We currently have a vacancy for a Retail Auditor within our COCO Retail team. This is a home / field based position working across Scotland, Wales, The North East and West of England and the midlands. This is a 37.5 hours per week role working Monday - Friday, on a permanent basis.
You should have access to good, direct transport links, close to main motorway networks as this role will involve you travelling to areas such as Southern Wales, Scotland, North East and North West of England and The Midlands, sometimes at short notice and It is essential that you have a valid driving licence for this position.
As Retail Auditor, your primary responsibilities are to ensure that Certas Energy's company policies and procedures are delivered in line with the compliance strategy for Retail. You will audit the company owned retail stores as per the schedule identifying and reporting risk while working closely with and collaborating with the Company Owned and Operated Retail Team, wider Certas Energy UK functions and external providers.
In this role as a Retail Auditor You will periodically conduct store audits in line with the audit schedule and review the store performance to ensure execution of compliance standards, company processes and policies are being met. You will also be asked to Support the business in conducting investigations where non-compliance and a breach of policy has been identified. It is essential that you work confidentially and ethically to form a clear understanding of the breach, while supporting the business to take the appropriate action.
You will work with the Area Managers in your role as Retail Auditor to reduce risk and manage overall compliance, Coach and develop the team of Store Managers on store compliance and risk management and further support underperforming stores with any ad hoc training requirements, working with the Area Manager to ensure action plans are delivered.
Previous experience within an audit role with ability to work well under pressure is desirable, while having industry experience within a Retail environment is a further advantage.
Good attention to detail is essential for this role along with excellent organisational and communication skills.
