Social Media Executive - Up to £22,000 - Leading Marketing Agency

About the Role

We now need a Social Media Executive to join an existing and growing team. You will offer your expertise and support for the multi-disciplinary cluster comprising of marketing communications, digital and social media. You will help facilitate the delivery and measurement of effective social media content plans and campaigns that span Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, blogs, influencer sites and beyond, you will ensure best practice, oversee quality, and promote integrated storytelling in order to deliver greater reach, engagement and ROI for the agency`s clients.

About you

The Social Media Executive will of course have significant social media experience, but more than that you will also be familiar with how to maximise the reach of each tool and for a specific type of audience. You will know how to define the appropriate KPIs and manage and oversee content. You will be familiar with scheduling content in advance using the right marketing tools, and measuring the success of each campaign to be able to confidently present back to clients. You will probably have worked closely with inhouse teams including copywriters and designers to make sure content is using the right tone and guidelines. And the Social Media Executive will be up to speed with the latest SEO developments and able to adapt and optimise as you go. In addition, you must have the following attributes:

The ability to translate and amplify marketing communications strategies

A minimum of 18 months Social Media Executive experience

Experience of both organic and paid for social media activities

Excellent writing, editorial, proofreading and content creation skills across multiple channels, from tweets and blogs to client and campaign proposals

Creative and conceptual skills - able to come up with engaging social topics, post formats and competitions

Proven ability to devise and drive strategies across a variety of platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube

Experience of using a range of social media scheduling tools

Proven ability to translate brand strategy into engaging content

Experience of insightful multichannel analysis and reporting

Experience of conducting social media audits and landscape reviews

Passionate about the role social media can play in connecting businesses with their audiences

First-rate written communication skills with an engaging style and close attention to language, grammar and accuracy

A sound grasp of social and digital media
