A leading UK Manufacturers of bespoke engineering products in Witney are looking for a Technician to join their Service and Repair Department. Reporting to the Service Manager in a small team this is a varied and challenging role for the right candidate who has a broad based mechanical or engineering background and, on the job, training will be provided. You also need to be a confident communicator as alongside dealing with customers at the counter you will also be responsible for delivering goods out on hire locally and dealing with some servicing on site, so a current full driving licence is essential.
Responsible for: -
Ensuring the provision of a repair service to our customers, an accurate diagnosis of problems and an efficient turnaround.
Responsible for customer liaison, problem solving, and the selling of extra components required across the counter and on the phone.
Ensuring that telephone calls are answered promptly in conjunction with the Repairs Manager.
Being actively involved in maintaining stock records and reporting shortfalls to manager.
Carrying out deliveries of goods to customers when appropriate.
Building hose assemblies and hose kits to order and tacking up and welding as required.
Ensuring that the Repairs area is clean and tidyKey Skills required:

Hours - 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday finishing earlier on a Friday, overtime is offered on Saturdays when required at time and a half. Salary of £19 - £22k is offered depending on experience. If you are interested and have the right experience, please send your cv
