An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer Dispatcher / Service Scheduler to join a very successful facilities management company based out of their office in Daventry.

The role will involve the efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and control of a team of remote Field Service Engineers. This includes the scheduling, communication, and follow-up of workload for each engineer in a region, to deliver agreed customer service levels, whilst maximizing utilisation and productivity of the field workforce.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role.

Driving improved performance and productivity of field service engineers through the effective utilisation of resource, and by ensuring that the correct skills and equipment are scheduled for every call.
Using the scheduling tool to drive overall regional performance whilst delivering to Service Level Agreements
Prioritising and allocating calls in line with customer Service Level Agreements and specific customer orders.
Identifying and escalating calls that are at risk and likely to fall outside the service level agreement, at the earliest opportunity.
Managing and controlling the effective delivery of planned maintenance within the region to achieve the targeted calls per day/ week. Ensuring that every field Engineer has PPM's to complete on a daily basis and that PPMs are used to deliver an increased number of jobs per engineer per day. Apart from planning for a PPM for every engineer per day they should also use the PPM's to increase the utilization and performance of the regional workforce. PPM's should be used to increase the number of jobs per day that each engineer delivers.
Improving the quality and consistency of allocating engineer resource by maximising opportunities in core hours and controlling overtime hours to within targeted levels.
Communicating and reporting on regional performance on a daily basis to the regional manager.
Attending the departmental daily review meeting and reporting regional performance and issues affecting performance focusing on the key indicators of Utilisation, Effectiveness and Productivity, and reviewing issues impacting performance at CM, PM and SLA level.
Identify issues impacting on performance within the region, at both an individual engineer and team level, and keeping a record through the issue log process, identifying, and suggesting possible solutions..

A good communicator with an acceptable telephone manner.
Must be energetic, dynamic and assertive with strong influencing skills
For the right candidate a fantastic basic salary in the region of £22-24k will be on offer (dependent upon experience) plus a great benefits package.
