About Harris Clapham Sixth Form

Harris Clapham Sixth Form is a brand-new academy opening to 300 Year 12 students in September 2021. Our capacity is 600 students over Year 12 and 13 . Our vision of 'Be the best' will apply equally to staff and students. Our building will have excellent facilities, all specifically designed to meet the needs of a sixth form curriculum.

Our values focus on Courage, Confidence and Commitment. These will underpin all our work. The academy will also have a particular focus on leadership, that is taking every opportunity to ensure students identify and develop their leadership potential.

Our website is beginning to take shape - please have a look at

Located within easy reach of both Clapham Common and Brixton underground stations, Harris Clapham Sixth Form is at the heart of Lambeth. We will be situated on Kings Avenue (on the site of the previous Territorial Army building on SW4). Construction is well under way and scheduled to finish in the summer of 2021.

Sam Hainey is the Executive Principal of the academy, he also oversees Harris Clapham, a separate school for students in Years 7 to 11, a short walk from the Sixth Form academy. While the two academies will be separate schools, there will be some natural opportunities for both to work together, for example, sixth form students mentoring and working with students in Years 7 to 11.
