We are recruiting for a heritage organisation who are searching for a Trusts and Legacy Manager to join their them. Their organisation is planning an exciting capital appeal which will be announced later this year, so it is a great time to join, they have a strong portfolio of funders, a well-connected board and an energetic leadership team. They have looked after their staff during the pandemic and are in a strong financial position. This role will be 80% focused on raising funds from trusts and foundations and 20% of the time will be spent on legacy fundraising (marketing and admin) so if you are looking to diversify your income stream experience to support your career this is a fantastic opportunity. You will manage an existing portfolio of funders, most of whom are at six-figure gift level although you will also secure seven-figure funding. Alongside this you will seek to build relationships with new funders.This role can be based in the West Midland or London.You will need:Strong experience of securing funding in excess of £50,000, ideally with six-figure experience or at the very least have supported on successful six-figure funding applications.Experience of managing, negotiating and renewing funder relationships, you will have excellent stewardship experience and be able to demonstrate growing funder valueExperience of working with different teams and building strong relationships internally, working with boards is a bonusExcellent writing ability and able to prioritise workloadTrustees have signed off on this recruitment and they have a plan in place for a smooth onboarding and interview process.Closing date: 28th FebSalary: £33,000 - £37,000If you would link to have an informal discussion please call Ashby on 02030 062787 or email Jenkins Recruitment are a specialist charity recruitment agency, we use our extensive sector knowledge and experience to match candidates to the most suitable roles.
