We are delighted to offer this great opportunity on behalf of our clients based in Leeds. Our client supplies to small / medium independents , national multiples, , retailers with high quality products sourced from around the world.

We are now seeking a Merchandising / Store Support Manager who is forward thinking , flexible attitude , hands on and has a desire to succeed . You must have strong managerial skills proven track record in mentoring and motivating your team , highly organised and able to plan workload and meet deadlines . You must have a good geographical knowledge of the UK , experience in route planning would be highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and ability to produce a simple report to keep the rest of the business informed within the merchandising / store support departments. Good level of IT across Word , Excel , PowerPoint.

This role is ideally suited for someone who is self motivated , driven & hungry to grow and develop their team , identify the needs of the business and able to act with full commitment and dedication.

Ideally you will live anywhere between Leeds - Doncaster and able to travel within the UK.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key purpose of this role is to ensure the business supports our customers by helping design, source, manufacture, distribute, install and maintain market leading displays.

Role & Responsibilities

Managing the team, planning workloads, setting and monitoring KPIs

where necessary, being a 'handson' manager and leading by example

Attending weekly Operations Meetings and working with the wider management team

Assisting with the procurements of stands and other display materials

Working with the marketing team and offering advice on new stands and display concepts with a focus on the practical elements such as transportation and installation

Raising sales / works orders for the creation of stands and hand boards

Monitoring the effectiveness of stands and displays, working with the National Sales Manager and his team to ensure stands are correctly located

Controlling the departmental budget and suggesting potential areas of new spend whilst looking to make savings in other areas

Ensuring that stocks of core merchandising / marketing materials are correctly maintained and monitored within the systems

Overseeing the set-up of the Company's exhibition stand at relevant trade shows as and when necessary

Ensuring the department vehicles are maintained and are legally compliant

Ensuring and promoting compliance with all health and safety, quality and human resource policies of the company
