RoSA is recruiting new Trustees to join our board. We are a leading charity established 27 years ago offering confidential services for survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse throughout Warwickshire and surrounding areas
What are we looking for?
We are looking for skilled, passionate, strategic minded individuals with a variety of skills to join and strengthen our board. As a Trustee you will be involved in the governance of the charity, setting the strategic direction as well as supporting the Chief Officer. In addition to your statutory duties, each trustee should use any specific skills, knowledge or experience they have to help the board of trustees reach sound decisions. This may involve scrutinising board papers, leading discussions, focusing on key issues, providing advice and guidance on new initiatives, or other issues in which the trustee has special expertise.
RoSA is an inclusive agency offering support to men, women, young people and children. We are looking for Trustees who are invested in all aspects of what we do which includes reducing sexual offending and re-offending through preventative initiatives. If you passionately share our values and have an interest in governance and gaining new skills, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The board meet quarterly and the role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, carried out by the Charity.
