Temporary Payroll Team Leader | Manchester | £16-£17ph
This is a position for an immediate start temporary Payroll Team Leader to join a face paced environment for a period of 6-9 months to help with company growth and high workload.
This role will include the following duties:
* Leading a small team of payroll assistants in the day-to-day delivery of Payrolls
* Focus on removing manual activities from the processes
* Ensuring that pay runs and associated payments are completed accurately and on time
* Managing payroll enquiries to satisfactory resolution
* Preparation of Annual P11d and PSA
* Liaising with HMRC, pension providers and other third parties
* Working closely with the HR Team to ensure all employee data is kept up to date
* Maintaining knowledge of current and new legislation impacting payroll and ensuring this is shared with the team
* Ongoing identification and implementation of improvements in payroll processes and systems
The successful candidate for this position will have/be:
* You will be CIPP qualified
* Excellent IT skills
* Great communication skills
* Previous line management experience
* In depth working knowledge of payroll processes, including the processing of end to end payroll
* Up to date with payroll legislation and pension regulations
