New Energy Platform (NEP) is a new business unit, which will provide low-cost, digital-first, hassle-free energy to consumers and small businesses in the UK.

Our ambition is to be the largest energy supplier in the UK for residential and small businesses, with a brilliant service that is effortless, reliable, hassle-free and low-cost. We need your help to make this happen... we are recruiting for a number of exciting new positions including an Email Production Manager.

Working as part of the CX, Sales & Marketing team, and together with the wider NEP business, to:
  • Develop and deliver a customer-focused multi-brand Energy business, in order to disrupt the UK market and drive substantial value and customer growth for Centrica
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing Consumer and Business customers, through experiences and interactions that they truly value

More specifically:
  • Design and build compelling email communications supporting the business strategy
  • Develop communications to bring the brand to life for our customers, and deliver the brand and marketing objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end design and build of responsive emails, including creative assets and html build
  • Perform campaign-specific quality assurance testing to validate functional and rendering performance
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on NEP's email templates, email channel best practice, process and principles, and channel capabilities
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email
  • Work with the Brand and Marketing team to ensure that all email communications are on brand
  • Understand the performance of communications and use this data to drive continuous improvement in email design
  • Work with Campaign Developer to design A/B and multivariant tests to increase engagement across marketing channels

The person
  • Substantial experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Photoshop for responsive email design and creating templates from scratch
  • Excellent knowledge of email best practices, methodologies, techniques, tools and passionate about delivering a high-quality product
  • Understanding of email rendering in different ISPs & basic deliverability best practice principles
  • Strong understanding of how to effectively engage and convert email subscribers through template design
  • Proficiency in owning and optimising email design and build process
  • Experience working with an email push platform such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
