The Role
We are looking for an Electrical Distribution Systems Engineer.
As major new technologies are being introduced to our products, the content and complexity of Electrical Distribution System (EDS) design increases, and you will have the exciting challenge to provide power and signal data (via Networks / CAN / Ethernet) as efficiently as possible throughout the entire vehicle.
You will understand the total Electrical System and make use of those skills to lead design of component interfaces, with Terminal & Connector systems and Power Distribution Boxes (PDB), manage CAD/CAE requirements and ensure correct Circuit & Fuse sizing.
Working from Dunton, 'The Home of the Transit', you will be a key member of the dynamic team that develops these specific, tailored designs, which touch every part of the vehicle & network to the multitude of modules & components that deliver the advanced features our vehicles offer.
Responsibilities
