Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands. As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of acquired businesses or new ventures, finance is there to support every step of the way, leading to dynamic and challenging roles - no two days are the same! About the THG Brands

THG Brands is one of our newest divisions. Starting with the acquisition of Grow Gorgeous and Mama Mio in 2016, we now have 8 fantastic premium beauty brands in our portfolio including, ESPA, Christophe Robin, Illamasqua, Eyeko and Perricone MD that THG acquired in 2020. Our brands have global reach, and so do our teams in Manchester, New York and Paris. You'll find us online, but also in your favourite high street stores; Sephora, Ulta, Selfridges and John Lewis. We are growing rapidly, with plans continuing to expand the portfolio. THG Brands, from manufacturing through to PR, is a large single unit working consistently to deliver rapid growth in a fast moving industry. Innovation, creativity and resourcefulness are common characteristic of the staff across all departments in this ever expanding team.

About the Role

Reporting directly into Finance Director

Management of at least one junior team member

Responsibility for all reporting provided by THG Brands to the wider business including but not limited to;

o Weekly forecast slide deck and supporting docs

o Monthly board slide deck and supporting docs

o Running e-comm and full retail meetings with the division

o All analysis, planning and budgeting templates used by the division

Monitoring and supervision of Finance data pipelines to ensure all systems are in sync and maintained

Playing a pivotal role between finance team and Data / Group teams, as well as the wider Brands division

Working with the rest of the commercial finance team in high volume data modelling around key business decision making (Website launches, warehouse strategies, pricing, stock management etc

Responsible for the reporting roadmap and the continuous improvement of reporting within the division.

Role Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel skills, ideally including SQL
  • Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • From a strong FP&A background
