Department Overview:

A key department within Space NK, the Marketing department are responsible for creating campaigns that engage current customers and drive new customer acquisition. The department consists of five teams: marketing, digital marketing, digital content, social and events.

Role Purpose:

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Marketing, working closely with the rest of the marketing department and wider teams across the business from PR and Trade to Buying and CRM. The role is responsible for creating and executing the digital marketing strategy to support customer targets across acquisition, retention and reactivation, delivering an optimised and efficient CPA and ROI for both the UK and international markets. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will forecast KPIs in line with customer and sales targets, ensuring that the digital marketing team and agency partners are delivering against these.

Key responsibilities:

• Effectively demonstrate the incremental value of digital marketing activity

• Deliver and evolve the always on strategy for paid marketing channels including (but not limited to) PPC, affiliates, display, paid social

• Deliver, own and evolve the SEO strategy, working closely with all teams across the business to deliver plans and drive efficiencies with overall search performance

• Deliver and evolve strategy and plans for digital marketing to support campaign moments including new brand launches

• Deliver and evolve the international growth strategy through digital channels, managing agencies to support and execute

• Work with media agency to provide insight on ATL activity, clearly demonstrating effectiveness against business goals, driving future plans and optimisation opportunities

• Work closely with the digital trade and development teams to identify opportunities to increase CVR of digital marketing traffic - applying a test and learn approach

• Lead digital marketing projects, ensuring that activity goes live in line with planned launch dates, and performance is reviewed and optimisations made

• Own the digital marketing budgets

• Forecast and report against both customer and sales targets

• Provide insight to the wider business on the performance of digital marketing channels, and their role within the wider marketing mix.

• Review reporting templates and logic to ensure the digital marketing team are sharing performance with the wider business and a clear and actionable format

• Drive the digital marketing team to consistently optimise against ROI and CPA, ensuring all paid marketing channels are running at their most efficient

• Lead, manage and develop the digital marketing team (directly line manage 1 team member, 2 additional team members)

• Build and manage relationships with all agency partners, ensuring they are delivering against strategy and KPIs
