We are looking to secure a Principal Solutions Architect who will be responsible for providing strategic technology leadership to enable us to become fully established as a digitally and data enabled Regulator, using the best of Cloud technology. The role is responsible for working with the Director of DDaT, the team of over 25 professionals, and all of Ofqual to make sure that our technology activity continues to enable regulation and in turn supports and promotes confidence in regulated qualifications among learners and others who rely on them.
It's an exciting time to join our well establish IM team and being part of this team you will play a key part in Ofqual's IM team, providing technical leadership for our cloud-native solutions ensuring we're making the right technology choices to give us resilience and sustainability and to deliver what users need.
This role will see you regularly collaborate with senior stakeholders to promote DDaT-driven change and you'll be proactive in identifying problems and solutions, and translating these into non-technical descriptions that can be widely understood. Being able to contribute to our DDaT strategy to enable and underpin Ofqual's growth with positive impact on our user base and the public who use our technology is an integral part of this role.
We are looking for a leader within the team who will mentor and coach more junior colleagues so our focus on succession planning and talent management remains true
