InfoSum is changing the world of data. We're helping advertisers, publishers, agencies and the rest of the advertising ecosystem better understand and target audiences in a way that both respects the privacy of the consumer and provides our customers with full control over their data. We're solving fundamental issues of consumer trust and transparency that have held back the industry. We are confident our platform will serve as the core infrastructure of the advertising ecosystem for years to come and we're looking for people to help us achieve that.

In August 2020, we raised Series A round of financing from both venture and strategic industry leaders, including Upfront Ventures, IA Ventures, Akamai, Experian, Ascential, ITV and AT&T and are rapidly growing our customer base of blue-chip companies.

We currently have a development team of 24 people (with more joining in January 2021), of whom 4 focus on the infrastructure and supporting DevOps activities.

The team is highly focused on rapid delivery of functionality to meet the demands of the business and is comprised of several small cross functional project teams who own the code from design through to production. Evolving processes aim to get a balance between agility and quality that is in line with our market position.

This role is part of the Tools and Automation team who have responsibility for delivering infrastructure and tooling to support all the development, build, cloud computing, storage, database, Kubernetes, monitoring, and deployment activities of the engineering team and the needs of the product and live platform.

About YouWe primarily hire for aptitude not knowledge, although we would like to see at least 18 months experience of working in infrastructure or SRE domains in a cloud deployment environment, we are not looking for a list of specific skills on your CV.

We are looking for people with a genuine passion for supporting the business and team members and who enjoy being challenged. You will be comfortable with prioritising your own work and communicating clearly with the team.

However we are committed to using the best technology for the task at hand. Other technologies used within the wider team include Protobuf, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kotlin, TypeScript, NodeJS, React.

However, like most tech businesses, we are fully remote and intend to remain that way until social distancing measures are over in the UK. When we return to the office, we will take the best bits of remote working but also foster face to face collaboration, with the intention that all employees will be in the office at least twice per week. Of course, if you prefer to be office based, you will be able to work there full time.

Whilst InfoSum HQ is Basingstoke, we also have a London office for sales and product operations colleagues as well as a growing presence in New York, reflecting the momentum we are gathering in the US.
