The Client:

They are an award-winning boutique full-service research agency based in London. Despite the obvious challenges of 2020, the company has been doing really well. Winning new business as well as keeping all members of their team on board and are therefore looking to grow their team.

They work across media and entertainment, toys and games, retail and food and drink with a focus on around kids, family & youth. They work with some of the biggest companies globally including Spotify, Lego, Sky and ITV.

The company also have a fantastic retention record which stems not only from the interesting and varied work they do, but also due to the fantastic, close-knit culture and learning opportunities they offer. A Senior Insight Executive there joined as an intern 3 years ago and now plays a key role in the business and due to the boutique nature of the company, you will have a real hand in where the business goes.

You get the best of both worlds too! That boutique feeling but also getting involved with socials etc with the larger team at their sister company which they share their office with.

They have a great training and onboarding scheme too (even remotely!) such as knowledge share training and working directly with senior members of the team. They also have a wellbeing committee too.

The Role:

As a Research Manager you will work on a range of qualitative projects, working closely with an array of clients to uncover key research issues. You will be responsible for every stage of the process, from proposal, to planning, to discussion guide writing, analysis and debriefing, requiring both strong project management and client skills. Through the bespoke research you are conducting with clients, you will not only answer their questions, but it also gives you the ability to make recommendations on how best to improve their brands.

Their work encompasses quant and qual and they work both within the UK and internationally. They work on brand, product and audience research. They also conduct in-house and proprietary work too! The work they do includes brand and comms and product innovation work.

Skills:

3+ years' full-service market research experience.

Excellent command of qualitative research methodologies

Experience in F2F and online methods (focus groups, IDI's, ethnographies)

Strong moderation skills and experience
