Job Details

Senior Frontend Developer - EdTech - London

A Senior Frontend Developer is needed for a award winning EdTech company connecting people across the world by making it easier to learn languages!

You'd be joining their web team specifically at a very exciting time. Traditionally they have been a mobile led business but are now refocusing on their web product and looking to overhaul and develop it. As a Senior Frontend Developer you will be joining a small but dedicated team to help lead that with a lot of work being greenfield and innovation led! And you will be working on a product used by over 40 million people worldwide!

You don't have to love languages, but if you do that's a bonus! The main thing though is they need someone product focused, and who loves working on tough engineering challenges!

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Frontend developer in the team, you will play a key role in the development of their user interfaces for their web based products, provide tech leadership around the frontend, and work on architectural decisions with your Engineering Manager.

What do you need?

As a Senior frontend developer you will need:
  • Good experience with React and ideally some work with Typescript
  • Ability to take leadership and ownership of technical development and decisions
  • Have a strong product focus!
  • Be passionate about innovation

What can they offer?

Salary is up to £85k base plus benefits. They are currently fully remote - when things are normal they are looking for people to be in the office a minimum of 1 day every two weeks (although ideally more!). They are based in central London.
