We're looking for people who are agile, full of ideas and want to challenge the norm. We are recruiting a number of senior technical individual contributors to support our product engineering squads.

We're looking for people who are agile, full of ideas and want to challenge the norm. We are recruiting a number of senior technical individual contributors to support our product engineering squads.
what you'll be working on
- Supporting one of our Heads of Engineering, and their squads, within a specific business area
- Be hands on with code on a daily basis
- Driving engineering best practices within your teams, define and teach practices such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud architectures and pair/mob programming
- Be part of the cinch-wide engineering community driving and influencing key engineering decisions across the company
- Guiding the evolution of serverless event driven systems within an AWS environment
- Be an advocate of advanced modern, agile software development practices
- Mentor and develop engineers helping them grow as individual contributors and community members
- Contributing to our collaborative DevOps culture, being responsible for your code from design to deployment and support
- Continually identifying areas for improvement through refactoring code, process or working methods
things we look for in you
- Have a deep understanding and experience of working with web applications and the surrounding stacks
- Constantly pushing technical boundaries, ensuring what we are doing and what we are building is the very best it can be
- Experienced building and supporting AWS, React, TypeScript, serverless, event driven applications
- Comfortable guiding architectural direction and solution design
- Familiar with event modelling and event driven architectures
- Understand the importance of driving quality into code through test automation
- Care about the product life cycle and the lifetime value of the customer
- Passionate about software development, sociable, with a great appetite for learning and self-improvement
