Are you looking for an opportunity to join a team of Data Scientists in building different statistical models for health-related initiatives.

THE COMPANY:

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will have the chance to work for a health organisation in analysing data sets and translating different business needs through building models. You will be working alongside both Data Scientists, Product Owners and analysts in 2-week agile sprints.

THE ROLE:

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be working with complex data and information feeds to draw conclusions. As a Junior Data Scientist, you should be strong on Python, R and a number of Data mining, machine learning, and predictive modelling techniques using frameworks such as pandas, numpy, jupyter, matplotlib. As a Junior Data Scientist any cloud experience is valuable. This is a chance for a Junior Data Scientist to further their skills within data analysis and exploration on highly impactful projects related to COVID 19.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Junior Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience with Python and a good understanding of its libraries; Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
• Proven experience applying data scientist techniques
• Cloud knowledge
• Ended to end model building
• Worked with complex data and information feeds to draw conclusions
• Understanding and following best practises in key areas such as quality assurance, coding standards and version control
