A leading Hi-Tech business based in the Staines area is working in partnership with the Network Professional team to identify a talented Finance Business Partner for their rapidly growing business.
This newly created role has come about due to revenue growth and a global finance optimization programme whereupon the business has recently set up an offshore Financial Shared Service Centre. They are now looking to upskill the UK team with a talented Finance Business Partner who can provide a seamless link between core finance and senior stakeholders who require relevant and insightful management information that will guide and underpin the commercial decisions they make.
This market leading business has been spun off from a global technology solutions company with an instantly recognizable brand and are at the forefront of the market they operate in. They are experiencing impressive growth globally and especially in the UK thus the need for this important appointment.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
-Working with senior stakeholders in corporate functions to identify the drivers and key KPI's that will facilitate business growth.
-Playing a key role in reporting around OPEX across the company and managing cost base.
-Developing the suite of management information in partnership with the senior management team and being a key player of the monthly presentation of variance analysis reports.
-Developing strong financial models to help with profitability analysis surrounding new projects
-Assessing and interpreting the outputs of the Global Shared Service Centre.
What Do You Need to Apply?
This market leading opportunity would suit a late stage part qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA). Ideally applicants will have worked as a Management Accountant and be ready to enter a full Finance Business Partnering role whereupon they will be comfortable partnering with board level contacts. Of omnipotent importance is the ability to work with non-financial stakeholders and the ability to present complex information in an intuitive and accessible way. Superb Excel skills will also be important along with general proficiency with ERP financial packages.
