Costs Negotiator / Budgeter - Personal injury EL/PL RTA and clinical negligence - £28,000 - £35,000
*COSTS NEGOTIATOR / DRAFTSPERSON - BOLTON*
Costs Negotiator - An exciting and challenging position has arisen within this leading defendant insurance litigation firm for an experienced Costs Budgeter to handle a mixed caseload of personal injury related costs. Those with Precedent H and Precedent R experience from a costs personal injury background are encouraged to apply.
*SUMMARY*

* *Salary:* £28,000 - £35,000
* *Reports to: *Head of Costs
* *Previous Experience:* around two years or more as a costs draftsperson handling own caseload preferably from a defendant personal injury background. Experience of Precedent H Costs and Precedent R is also required.
*NATURE OF THE DEPARTMENT*
Our client is a respected defendant personal injury firm and an established player in the insurance litigation market, acting for a raft of household name insurance companies as well as self-insured companies. The work undertaken by the various personal injury departments ranges from fast track RTA to complex multi track EL/PL and other areas such as clinigal negligence. Due to the growth of the Costs team a role has arisen for a Costs Negotiator with sound experience of costs budgeting to pick up an existing costs caseload.
The role is best suited to a Costs Negotiator who is used to handling a variety of work. They should also ideally come from a defendant personal injury background. However, our client is committed to accepting applications from a range of backgrounds and is therefore prepared to consider cost candidates with claimant costs experience as well as more junior costs candidates, who wish to expand the type of costs work they are exposed to.
