Job Details

Key Essential Skills:

· Cloud cost optimisation tools such as AWS native tools, Apptio, cloud health & Cloudcheckr

· ITSM certified (CMDB, JIRA, and Xray)

· Experience with DevOps related automation tools

· Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS)

· Scripting technologies (Powershell, Bash, Python)

· Enterprise Monitoring Tools for infrastructure and applications

· Experience with core cloud services; desired experience with billing, cost management, and data visualization tools such as BigQuery, Data Studio, Cost Explorer

· SDLC and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts


· FinOps certification

· AWS, AZURE or GCP; certification to architect level

· ITIL foundation 1-year and Processes exposure

· Certification with an enterprise ITSM or ticketing system

Role & Responsibilities:

· Develop outcome strategies with automation to maximize resource utilisation and minimize costs benefits

· Be driven to discover opportunities to automate anything and everything and value creation

· Participate and support the team adopt technology and methodology

· Best practice with written documentation and stand-ups

· Ensures the health of the service goes beyond the defined service level expectations

· Participate in incident management and communications, including follow-up with problem resolution post-mortem, and process improvement

· Assist with cost analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to leadership on a month by month basis

· Automation in a cloud environment - Infrastructure as Code, especially using AWS


· Other duties include implementing policy, procedure and control; documentation; and service request fulfilment.
