The role:
To support process owners by documenting processes, archiving, and managing process models as well as documenting key work-products such as performance risk and issues, performance activity plans, performance- and scalability requirements.
You will do this by:
- Leading initiatives to improve performance testing so that there no longer are performance bottlenecks
- Leading initiatives to improve application performance monitoring
- Reviewing existing and ongoing performance test activities
- Coaching and mentoring engineers on the importance of performance testing
- Liaising with stakeholders from multiple teams
- Presenting information clearly at different levels
The Right Experience
Practical knowledge and experience in
- Performance architecture & design
- Performance using Gatling, The Grinder, JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner
- Database performance-testing including distributed storage systems
- Debugging/logging tools, like; dynatrace, MySQL Profiler, Retrace, Xdebug, Xhprof
- Programming languages, like; PHP, Python, Ruby
- Working with the performance monitoring and tuning
- Continuous Delivery/Deployment
- Cloud Computing
- Quantifying complex performance bottlenecks spanning potentially multiple physical and logical components

- Apt at hitting the ground running - experience in start- and scale-up organisations previously will help there
- Performance coach-led - effective mentor
