Our Team

You'll join our friendly boutique accountancy and tax team based in Chichester. The team deals with a wide range of work for its high net worth and global UK clients. As part of a dynamic law firm we work closely with our lawyer colleagues, helping the firm's clients with their tax compliance.

Your Role

You'll be able to demonstrate an awareness of profitability and you'll be expected to provide efficient, cost effective work using commercial software. Using your experience, you'll prepare and review annual self-assessment tax returns and capital gains returns for a portfolio of clients, both UK and non-UK resident, and assist with disclosures to HMRC.

As a result of growth, we're looking for an enthusiastic and client focused individual to join the team dealing with complex self-assessment returns, advice and disclosures to HMRC. Many clients will have an international aspect to their UK tax affairs. Some experience in that field would be helpful but training can be provided. You'll also be expected to assist with building business development relationships within the firm.

You'll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to provide professional tax advice to clients and colleagues across the firm as well as offering advice to a wide range of clients on income tax and capital gains tax. You must be comfortable liaising with a range of third parties including financial advisors and trustees both in the UK and overseas.

What we'll need from you:

  • ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA qualification
  • An ability to handle your own caseload
  • Experience of preparing personal tax returns
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
