Back End Developer

Following a solid start to 2021 and a growing orderbook Colateral are actively seeking a Fully Remote Working Senior Back End Developer to take ownership of the hands-on development of our SaaS product.

The Role

This role is best suited to someone from a Full-Stack development or Back-End development background and a leaning towards back-end development, looking to build on their recent experience of responsibility for delivering at least one SaaS product.

Core areas for the Senior Back End Developer to initially focus on are:

• Efficient delivery of the product to a growing number of international customers.
• Use your maturity and technical gravitas to support, mentor and influence junior members of the team, helping them to fulfil their potential.
• Evolve a recently established Agile development environment.
• Lead collaboration between The Engineering Team and the Product Manager and business operations to maintain and build on client satisfaction.
• Contribute to building a technical strategy that will take the existing architecture to the next level, by a well-defined roadmap.

Technical knowledge



You'll have experience of both Front and Back End development, witha leaning towards Back-End.

Ideally you'll also have experience of leading projects and managing small teams.

Your depth in technical knowledge will give you confidence in your architectural abilities a pragmatic approach to build on the from the existing platform, whilst exploring and implementing new technologies.

Core Technologies: JavaScript - NodeJS, Mongo DB, Azure

It's essential you'll also capable of communicating plans and ideas within and outside the engineering team, achieving alignment with the product roadmap and company strategy.
