Head of Software Testing

An award winning financial services company is seeking a Head of Software Testing. The company is a leading UK mortgage provider, whose key success is based on an advanced digital platform.

This is a full-time position at the client's Derby head office, and has a salary of £60,000.

You will be part of a small team, consisting of two developers and a product owner working in line with Agile framework. This role will be critical to ensure the highest quality of software releases, and the testing is delivered to the highest technical standards. Ultimately you will ensure that all released products work seamlessly and effectively; supporting the UK mortgage market.

Responsibilities:

• Be the focal point for all software testing conducted within the integration and development teams;
• Build a testing toolkit that best supports the workload and the team;
• Ensure each new feature and release meets production ready standards, before deployment to the live environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Expert in automation testing;
• Advanced experience as a Software Tester or similar role (minimum 5 years);
• API testing experience
• Expert in Microservices
• Advanced coding skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, SQL (Angular/React)
