Vice President, Head of Financial & Statutory Reporting

Our client, is one of the UKs leading Investment / Wealth Management organisations.

The firm are currently embarked on an extremely exciting trajectory, with Board room changes that have boosted the organisations strategic focus and, notwithstanding the current global uncertainty, they have recorded strong performance throughout 2020.

As such, the CFO seeks to strengthen his Finance team and hire a Vice President level finance professional to run the Statutory Reporting and Control team.

The individual will own a small team who oversee the production and analysis of group quarterly trading reports, half yearly reports, group and subsidiary annual accounts, hedge accounting and group accounting policies and standards. The successful appointment will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of financial reporting, and extremely high level of accounting proficiency and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also be extremely articulate in succinctly presenting financial information to the Board, Ex-Co and a variety of external parties.
