Information Security Manager, London, £65,000 - £80,000

This role is primarily responsible for leading information security team to implement and maintain operational IT security and information security program. To protect assets, intellectual property, systems and IT services and that of our clients against unauthorised use, disclosure, modification, damage and loss.

Information Security Manager activities:

• Work towards continuous improvement through definition of security processes, training, implementation and continuous review;
• Supervises and where necessary conducts threat intelligence activities. Communicating and applying the results proactively across people, process and technologies;
• Manage responses to RFPs/Audits;
• Manage and coordinate third party information security risk in close coordination with the business;
• Manage a small team
• Maintain ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and certification cycle;
• Operational Support:

1. Support BU project managers to capture, document and implement security requirements in projects;
2. Monitor and respond to phishing emails and pharming activities;
3. Monitoring of the organisations networks and systems for security incidents;
4. Lead response to security incidents;

Experience needed:

• Technical leadership and management skills required to lead and develop the information security team
• A passion for cyber security and a keen interest in IT
• Analytical skills are key to the role, an ability to analyse complex technical information to identify patterns and trends and perform a risk analysis of threats
• Academic qualification in a cyber-security or demonstrate a suitable vocational qualification such as: CISM, CISSP. CRISC etc.
• Experience and practical working knowledge leading to the successful certification to the ISO27001 standard
• Previous experience working in, or liaising with a Security operating Centre
• Knowledge and experience of Windows and Mac OS.
