At Anaplan, we are looking for a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team of global engineers, working to build and ship award-winning, cloud planning technology that is helping people and companies around the world every day to make better-informed plans and decisions.

You will join a team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren't afraid to push boundaries and try new ideas, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed.

Anaplan are currently a remote workforce in light of COVID-19 and will be till spring / early summer when we'll return to our offices.

What you'll be doing:

Joining a team that's responsible for enhancing and maintaining Anaplan's internal platform level APIs and externally facing public APIs. We are currently adding features to the existing APIs, improving stability, and enhancing our development pipeline and working towards a major redesign of how we store and manage metadata for the platform, you'll be involved in the direction of this!

The core language for this role is Java. We're looking for outstanding engineers with in-depth experience in multi-threaded distributed systems written in Java, or experience with other languages and a desire to learn.

Able to apply agile development principles and push for modern best practices in software development and deployment. You have the intellectual curiosity and discipline to explore the problem space beyond what is directly expressed by requirements. Experience of containerisation and public cloud infrastructure is also relevant.
