A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a young, dynamic finance function where you will have the opportunity to develop an array of experiences in a highly profitable business. The company have an excellent international presence, and are going through a number of positive changes.

This position is great for those from an MI background who are wanting a new challenge in their role. You will build upon your knowledge, and learn new skills. This role has a an emphasis on using your computer skillset to find your way through large amounts of data, apply to pick apart the error and look at how you can help implement the data into the businesses modelling software. This might sound difficult but the business has an excellent support network meaning a helping hand is never far away.

What makes this position unique is that should you wish the company will excel you towards a more commercial route, where you will work closely with the underwriters and actuarial teams, helping them produce data but also liaise across departments within Finance helping within Business Partnering and looking at the company's business plan.

Key points;
  • Produce and maintain key controls and data
  • Use your systems and process skill set developing existing models but helping to implement new data
  • prepare the business accounts
  • Meet regularly with senior management to discuss trends and movements.

What we need;
  • Insurance experience - ideally Lloyd's
  • Strong IT Skill set
  • Previous MI background
