DevOps Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a DevOps engineer you will be part of the Platform team responsible for engineering, enhancing and transforming our AWS footprint and provide necessary operational support to multiple engineering teams. You will have the chance to work on new cloud engineering standards and patterns, and also create and support new tools and products.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate and deploy cloud platform solutions using AWS
• Experience of setting up monitoring, alerts and reports/dashboards for health/performance using tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack etc
• Create, maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting and debugging capabilities
• Provide necessary operational support to multiple platforms
• Perform technical troubleshooting for all AWS cloud environments
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify Platforms needs and issues
• Ensure appropriate technical documentation is in place for AWS solutions
• Ensure effective communication is maintained with necessary stakeholders
• Help transition applications into AWS through detailed planning

Required skills

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, Cloudformation, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, ECR, VPC, RDS, Route53, ELB, CloudFront)
• Experience with serverless framework and Terraform
• Understanding of web security and DevSecOps principles
• Understand customer issues, troubleshooting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work across global teams and working with different cultures across different time zones
