- Product owner for the SDWAN service capability, with the key following responsibilities
- define the vision for the technical evolution of the SDWAN product
- translate the high level product requirements set by the product manager into technical requirements for the development team
- manage the SDWAN product backlog
- actively contribute to the SDWAN platform and service development
- drive key investment decisions related to the SDWAN product and infrastructure
- perform the product evangelist role within Colt, engaging sales, solution architects and customers to promote the adoption of the SDWAN service and collecting feedback to improve the product capability
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven experience in any of the following roles:
- product management and/or product owner for the development of software based product capabilities with focus on telecom services (in the area of Cloud, Ethernet and IP based services including SDWAN)
- Senior architect and/or manager role in telecom or in an adjacent industry (vendor, service provider, IT services company, web2.0 company)
- hands-on experience in either operations or engineering of networks and/or platforms before moving into the architect role
- designing complex end-to-end architectures that encompass network, datacentre and IT components
- Good understanding of SDN and NFV concepts and technologies (SDN, SDDC, cloud management platforms, Universal CPE), ideally experience with actual market players and solutions
- Design and implementation experience with SDWAN technologies and solutions
- Good understanding of waterfall, agile and DevOps development models
- Good understanding of economics and experience in writing business cases and concept papers
- Must be fluent in English (technical and non-technical), another European language is welcome
- Strong team player able to lead small teams of senior architects/engineers, drive projects and activities
- Excellent communicator, collaborator and "people person" capable of sharing a vision, aligning people, focusing efforts and motivating teams
- Good presenter and inter-personal skills (C-level, customer meetings, vendor management, speaking at conferences, publishing thought leadership, active participation to SDOs and other industry forums)
- Ability to travel regional and long-haul as required
