Senior Programmer - Bioinformatics

*Senior Programmer - Bioinformatics required by a leading Biotechnology company based in Cambridge*

A rapidly growing Biotech based in Cambridge currently require a Senior Programmer - Bioinformatics to join a team in developing the companies core platform and ultimately help in the early detection of disease.

In terms of skills, we are looking for Senior Programmers who have a proficiency in R, Python and fluency in Linux. The Senior Programmer will have excellent experience of software development best practices and ideally have a PHD/Masters in Computer Science, Bioinformatics (Or equivalent experience).

Any experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, BioQuery and non-relational database would be great though not essential.
