Job Details

Work with new technologies, a small team and direct access to the DevOps Manager.

You're likely looking for your next step in DevOps, or you've done some LAMP administration and you feel DevOps could be your calling. There's flexibility here, in terms of work and in terms of technology.

You'll be joining a small, in-house development team who are responsible for building and maintaining and deploying e-commerce software to sell their products online. You'll focus on LAMP stack administration on AWS, but don't worry if you haven't done everything, you'll still be considered if you're eager to learn and have a good understanding of LAMP and/or AWS.

In terms of your learning, you'll be the first hire by the DevOps Manager, so you'll have the benefit of his full attention to give you everything you need to know. Automation, cloud, CI/CD will all be things you'll get stuck into and progress your knowledge and experience.

It's a collaborative environment and as it's small you'll learn quickly. If you're the type of person who loves technology and loves exploring new things, this could be ideal.

The salary range for this is between £30-40,000 depending on your experience, plus a range of benefits, including a training budgetyou're your development, that we can discuss on application. There's a flexible work environment and beyond the pandemic you can continue work from home the majority of the time, perhaps only coming to the office once or twice a week. The company has done very well during the pandemic, as they sell home catering equipment.
