Key focus of the role

Be the day-to-day delivery/project management lead ensuring projects are resourced appropriately, on track, on brief and on budget

Key tasks
  1. 75% of the day: project management lead. Takes responsibility for project deliver; owning resource allocation, timelines, WIPs and finance trackers
  2. 15% of the day: giving clients face time. Works as part of a cross-functional team to ensure clients' needs are being met now and in the future with clear, consistent and timely communications
  3. 10% of the day: growth. Establishes and maintains best practices across the business, within and between teams; gains industry- and project-related experience and upskills in client services/strategy/digital healthcare communications

Key results/objectives
  • Being the glue between all functions
  • Co-ordinate interactions between internal teams - Accounts, Content and Development to ensure the timely delivery of high quality client programmes
  • Work alongside SAM/AD/CSD to ensure project profitability and client satisfaction
  • Build a relationship with clients for having clear communication and strong organisation skills


  • Create (and keep updated) client status sheets, finance trackers and contact reports
  • Ensure work is aligned to the client brief and objectives
  • Coordinate the process for submitting deliverables (including medical/legal/regulatory review)
  • Develop and communicate clear timelines

  • Secure appropriate resource based on job estimates, budgets and briefs
  • Develop internal timelines and budgets
  • Keep track of timelines and budgets, raise challenges/barriers early and trouble shoot (with support), when necessary
  • Ensure the internal team are briefed on time, clearly and with the information they need to delivery to a high standard
  • Organise project kick-off meetings, lead status updates and project wrap up meetings

Core competencies

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a minimum of three years relevant industry/agency experience
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and coordinating the delivery of integrated digital marketing solutions
  • Have experience delivering multi-faceted digital communications projects, using a variety of CMS and CRM platforms
  • Have experience in email, social media, search engine and display marketing and how to integrate these platforms to deliver integrated online solutions, preferably in a healthcare marketing setting
  • Have experience using Veeva platforms and visions of how to make best use of these systems to deliver integrated communications solutions
  • Be able to build relationships with multiple client and third-party stakeholders and clearly communicate the value of our digital marketing recommendations
  • Hold excellent written and oral communications skills; plus, confidence facilitating internal and client workshops
  • Have a strong track record of team and project leadership
  • Be comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and ownership
  • Have a passion for identifying new digital technologies and translating these into opportunities to enhance our service
  • Have experience in evaluating campaign performance data and making recommendations accordingly
  • Have experience using project management tools to deliver complex projects
  • Hold advanced competency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Essential: graduate qualification; ideally a science and/or marketing
  • Desirable: post-graduate qualification in marketing/digital marketing
